Verification
Every Yeja Studios account starts as a basic, logged-in identity. Certain activities — minting, connecting a payment account, placing bids or listing lots at auction, and launching a fundraiser — require an additional verification step to confirm you're a real person behind a real account before you can take that action.
Content Moderation
Uploaded artwork, gallery listings, auction lots, commission proposals, and fundraiser campaigns are subject to review. Content that misrepresents authorship, infringes on intellectual property, or violates our community standards may be removed, and repeat violations can result in account suspension.
Dispute Resolution
Disagreements between buyers and sellers — over a completed auction, a commissioned work, or a fundraiser reward — are reviewed by our team. We look at the listing terms, communication history, and delivery confirmation to reach a fair resolution, and escalate to a refund or account action where warranted.
Reporting Abuse
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these standards, use the report option available on the relevant listing, profile, or post, or reach us directly via Contact Us.
Terms of Service
By creating an account or using Yeja Studios, you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language and cover how the platform may be used.
Who Can Use Yeja Studios
You must be able to form a binding agreement to use Yeja. Artist and gallery accounts require identity verification before selling, bidding, launching fundraisers, or connecting a payment account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.
Your Content and Work
You keep all rights to the artwork and content you upload. By listing work on Yeja, you grant Yeja a limited license to display, reproduce, and promote it for the purpose of operating the platform and presenting your listings. You confirm that you own or have the rights to everything you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Buying and Selling
Yeja supports fixed-price sales, live auctions, commissions, fundraisers, and gallery placement. A winning auction bid and an accepted fixed-price offer are binding commitments to complete the transaction. Payments are processed by Stripe; Yeja never stores your full card or bank details.
Auctions
Bids are binding. Proxy bidding places bids on your behalf up to the maximum you set. Anti-snipe extensions may extend a lot's end time. Reserves, increments, and any buyer's premium are shown on each lot.
Commissions and Escrow
Commissioned work runs through a brief, a proposal, a signed contract, and escrowed payment released against milestones. Both parties are bound by the accepted contract. Disagreements are handled under our dispute-resolution process.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not misrepresent authorship, infringe intellectual property, commit fraud, harass others, circumvent platform processes, or violate applicable law. Violations may result in content removal or account suspension.
Payments and Taxes
Payouts are made through your connected Stripe account. You are responsible for your own taxes. Financial and transaction records are retained as required by law — see our Privacy Policy.
Account Termination
You can delete your account at any time; see our Privacy Policy for what is removed and what is retained. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimers and Liability
Yeja Studios is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Yeja is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Yeja is a platform connecting buyers and sellers and is not a party to the underlying sale of artwork.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
